Educator: For the Love of Acting is an at-risk program where youth write about issues they are facing. Using theatre techniques Isabella teaches classes on creative writing and storytelling. Through this process youth are able to release their inner most thoughts and feelings. Our youth are going though a difficult time in their lives. They are experiencing peer pressures, trouble at home as well as their own biological changes. When bottled up these feelings and emotions may lead to behavioral problems. These emotions are the emotions that can some times cause youth to use drugs or get into trouble. Through the exploration of writing, storytelling and video each youth has the opportunity to understand themselves and the world around them better.
